Bahraini poet, journalist and blogger Jaffar AlAlawy, 27, was arrested Tuesday morning 8 November 2011, according to Nabeel Rajab president of the Bahrain Centre for Human Rights (BCHR), a nonprofit group that works to promote human rights in Bahrain.

It isn’t known why AlAlawy was arrested or if he has been charged with any crime.
