The Church, Dominus Flevit, is located on the Mount of Olives, immediately facing the Old City of Jerusalem. The name of Dominus Flevit, translates from Latin as "The Lord Wept."   A magnificent view over the "Old City" can be viewed across the altar and through the wrought iron work of the church.
